Welcome to the Family

We want to formally extend a warm welcome to the three newest staff members here at Cornerstone Church, Ashley Coxwell, April Olive, and the newest addition to the Cornerstone family, Lee Cadden. Over the past several months Cornerstone has filled some key areas of need in the church with these new positions.  We hope you will get to know them as the rest of the staff has done and will welcome them as they grow through their service to Christ and you the church.

You can always read more about them on the staff page, but if you see them on Sunday morning please be sure to welcome them in their new role.

Ashley Coxwell

Ashley joins cornerstone as our resident Graphic Designer.  She works on many things you see in the worship service on Sunday mornings like the sermon graphics, news and events graphics on the website, the signs you see in the lobby, to overall design and layout of many printed materials.

Ashley is excited about using her passion for visual communication to serve at Cornerstone. She has a precious son, Micah, who is her constant source of inspiration.

Ashley is completing her degree in Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online. She enjoys art and design, music, changing hair colors and everyday adventures with Micah.

April Olive

April joins Cornerstone as the Program Ministry Assistant, which means April does just about everything.  April works along side Jack Fisher on Sunday mornings to make sure everything outside the worship service runs smoothly, she is key to organizing volunteers for service at Cornerstone and assists the ministry personnel during the week.

Originally from Washington D.C., April received her B.A. from Auburn in 1995. She and husband David have been married for 15 years. They moved to Auburn in 2000 and have been members at Cornerstone since 2005. Before starting their family, April worked in healthcare administration.

She enjoys sports and traveling and is passionate about discipleship. April and David have three children – Lindsey, Ben and Erin.

Lee Cadden

Lee Cadden joins Cornerstone as the Director of College Ministries.  This newly created position will minister to those college students in the Auburn and Opelika area.  Lee and his wife, Lacey, come to Cornerstone already very connected with the college students having worked with Brian Johnson over the last year as they envisioned what a college ministry in this area would look like.

Lee is truthfully an adventurer at heart. He and his wife, Lacey, graduated from Auburn University (2006 and 2004) and have spent the last three years following the Lord, from Nashville to China and back to Auburn in 2008.

His heart beats for college and university students to claim their roles as sons and daughters of the King and step into their place in the greatest story ever told…wherever He may lead.
