Recruiting Small Group Leaders & Hosts

For almost two thousand years now small bands of Christ followers have been gathering together in homes, businesses, restaurants, church buildings, parks and even coffee shops to journey through life together and grow deeper in Christ.  At Cornerstone we call this movement “Small Groups” and we believe in it.  Something powerful and transforming happens when share our lives together in the context of Christ’s love.  The way we do this at Cornerstone revolves around four foundational ideas, what we call our Small Group DNA.  1) Life Together…sharing in intentional relationships.  2) Ministry…caring for others inside and outside of the church.  3) Biblical Foundations…being grounded in scriptural truth.  4) Transformation…seeing real life change.  This is what our small groups at Cornerstone are all about.

As we prepare to launch another wave of small groups this September we are looking for more Small Group Leaders and Small Group Hosts to join in this movement.  Leaders would be those who facilitate and steer the small group.  This may happen as an individual or with a co-leader.  Hosts are those hospitality people who would love to invite a small group to meet in their home but may not necessarily want to lead.  Our intention would be to partner a host with those leaders who may not be able to facilitate a group from their own home.  New Leaders would go through equipping sessions with other leaders and also have individualized training/mentoring from experienced small group leaders.

If you have more questions or would like to make yourself available for either of these roles, please just complete the form below to submit your interest to Josh Agerton, Cornerstone’s Pastor of Connections who will soon follow up with you.  The deadline for this will be July 12th.

Thanks again for your consideration and you will be hearing from Josh very soon.
