This coming Thursday night at 7 pm we will be gathering in the worship area at Cornerstone to listen and learn. Dave Ramsey will be hosting the Town Hall for Hope meeting through a simulcast on our big screen. Join others from Cornerstone and our community to learn Dave’s thoughts on our country’s economic situation.

In the opening half hour, Dave will offer straight talk about the economy, recession, foreclosures and more. He’ll carefully explain where we’ve come from, where we are now, and what we should be doing with our money during this time. Then, Dave will spend an hour answering your questions live!

Dave Ramsey is someone many of us rely on for sound financial advice. Not only is his advice timely but it is also based on biblical truths. Dave Ramsey exemplifies his life’s work of teaching others how to be financially responsible, so they can acquire enough wealth to take care of loved ones, live prosperously into old age, and give generously to others.

As a Christian I am looking forward to listening to Dave so I can work through all the clutter created by the media. The perspective I have come to know from Fox News, CNN, MSNBC and others is one of “doom and gloom”. As Christians I know we are called to live life and handle our finances from a different viewpoint and with different values than a secular world. Dave Ramsey will help us understand what that means.
